Today i am totally loving Natalia Fabia's artwork. I first came across her when she was on an episode of Miami Ink, and i thought her paintings were amazing, but today i stumbled across her latest collection "Hooker DreamEscape". They are stunning. I wish i could see them in person. Her work usually features "Hookers" a word she uses to describe “rad, talented chicks”, because essentially we are all "selling our talents". Her style has defiantly got more realistic as her career has blossomed, but i love the old and the newer work, she has such a distinct style and use of colour. I can't wait to see what she does next. Hope to one day to at least own a print!
OMG! I saw 500 Days Of Summer yesterday - at last, I've been waiting for ages! It was brilliant. It really affected me, i was properly crying near the end. I haven't really felt that way about a film since Lost In Translation. It's so nice to see love portrayed in such a realistic way, it really inspired me to want to write again. It also completely refueled my girl crush on Zooey Deschanel, think i own almost all her films, and i loved her as Kat in Weeds. Her characters are always vaguely similar but her emotional range as an actress is fantastic, totally believable. She's also completely beautiful.
